The woman who beat her 9-year-old son to death was sentenced to more than 23 years in prison, the Cluj court ruled. The decision can be challenged.
On Tuesday, the magistrates of the Cluj Court decided to sentence the abused mother to 23 years and three months in prison for her act.
The court’s decision can be appealed within 10 days of communication, Mediafax writes.
The Cluj-Napoca woman killed her 9-year-old son in a fight last summer in early July. The boy was found dead in the apartment where he lived with his mother, his concubine and two other brothers. The boy had bruises that bruised 80 percent of his body.
“After the autopsy, it was established that the death of the minor was violent and occurred as a result of the attacks suffered,” the representatives of the Cluj Police reported then.
The condemned woman was known to be violent towards her children. Four years before the crime was committed, the three brothers were in the protection system, being raised in the maternal care system, after which they were returned to their mother.
