The city of Bragadiru and the commune of Chiajna have been in quarantine for 14 days since Friday, the Department of Emergency Situations announced.
Bragadiru has an infection rate of 10.50 per 1,000 residents on Friday, while Chiajna has a rate of 10.78, according to a document issued by the Ilfov County Prefecture.
The quarantine in the two localities takes effect at 10 p.m.
Also on Friday, DSP Ilfov officially requested the quarantine of the towns of Corbeanca, Mogoșoaia, Măgurele, Popești Leordeni, Otopeni and Dobroiești. To enter into force, the measure must be approved by the INSP, the Regional Committee and then by the Department of Emergency Situations.

The declaration on one’s own responsibility becomes mandatory in the Chiajna commune in Ilfov. For the volunteers, DSP inspectors have yet to make a quarantine proposal. Today, the index has fallen below 9.
On Thursday night, the towns of Berceni and Clinceni were quarantined, after the same measure was previously taken in Ciorogârla.
The towns of Ilfov mentioned are practically close to Bucharest and tens of thousands of people from here commute daily to work in the capital.
