The beating began. Barna and Orban will head the Chamber of Deputies

The leader of the USR, Dan Barna, aspires to the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies, but Ludovic Orban turned his plans upside down. The leader of the PNL can no longer be prime minister, that’s why he wants a position in Parliament, so as not to lose all power. That is why the PNL wants both the prime minister and the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies. Typically, the USR PLUS Alliance could be given the post of Deputy Prime Minister (by Dan Barna) and Head of the Senate. But another problem arises, even within the Alliance. If Barna became deputy prime minister, PLUS would have to host the Senate, and Dan Barna would be left with only a decorative role after the ciolan split. That is why Dan Barna holds the teeth of the head of the Chamber of Deputies, just like Ludovic Orban.

The liberals want to keep the following ministries: Health, Finance, Economy, Justice, Internal Affairs, Regional Development, Defense, Foreign Affairs. USR PLUS is negotiating for Education, Environment, European Funds and Energy, while UDMR will certainly receive the Ministry of Culture and two more portfolios, Adevărul political sources claim. In principle, the Government will only have 16 ministries: 8 in PNL, 5 in USR PLUS and 3 in UDMR.

Acting Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca summoned the relatives of former Prime Minister Ludovic Orban and briefly asked them to resign from the Government. Nicolae Ciucă wanted to convey to them: “Tell the press that I asked you to leave.” The military deployed by Ciucă harassed several leaders of the PNL, political sources for the claim of “Adevărul”.
