Those responsible for Transport expect that by the end of the year they will put 17 kilometers of the Sebeș-Turda highway into circulation. This is the group that the Italians from Pizzarotti are working on.
A video from the drone shows that there is still a lot to do at the Sebeș road junction and it is not possible to talk about an opening too early. From the footage posted by the peundemerg.ro forum you can see that work is being done, but in the passages some don’t even have all the rafters in place. Furthermore, in the area of the ramp on DN1, the construction company did not even begin to work on one of the piles of the passage, due to a pipe that was not relocated.
Data from the Infrastructure Company say, however, that the stage of the works has exceeded 92%. As for lot 2, where the Greeks from Aktor work, only next year could we expect the inauguration of the 24 kilometers of road.
However, Transport Minister Lucian Bode declared in July, at the end of a visit to lots 1 and 2 of the Sebeş-Turda highway, that the two sections could be ready by the end of November. Prime Minister Ludovic Orban, who accompanied him on the visit, added that the works can be completed on time, as long as the executing companies are mobilized.
The works of lots 1 and 2 of the Sebeş-Turda highway began at the end of 2014, with the first being 17 km long and the second 24.2 km long.
