“As we are preparing for our entry into Romania, we are looking to hire a service technician to join our new team in Bucharest,” the company said in the first of a series of similar job openings posted on the site.

Tesla is looking to hire five people in Bucharest, full time: store manager, sales consultant, service manager, and two service technicians. The announcements ran on December 14.

Tesla also shows what it expects from candidates: “To be successful at Tesla, you have to be energetic, highly organized and smart. He must have a passion for the brand and the ability to develop his technical skills and develop in a team environment ”.

The company also claims that it is expecting CVs exclusively in English.

Tesla does not currently have a representative office in Romania, although orders are available in our market.

Last fall, Tesla CEO Elon Musk reiterated that the American electric car maker plans to expand its presence in most Eastern European markets, but in early 2020.

In March 2019, the American automaker indicated that it wants to achieve 99% coverage in Europe by the end of the year, with Romania preparing three Supercharger charging stations, in Bucharest, Craiova and Brăila.
