Terrorist attack in Vienna. The hardest night of the Austrian police in the last eleven years

[ad_1]

Cobra special forces were alerted immediately after the first call announcing the attack in central Vienna. All available units in the Austrian capital, as well as in Graz and Linz, were dispatched to the scene. Furthermore, after Chancellor Kurtz described the attack as a terrorist attack, the Austrian army took command of the operation.

The attackers’ first target was the Great Synagogue in the center of the city. Like the rest of the places of worship in Austria, it was already under police surveillance at the time of the attack.

This explains how quickly the first attacker was annihilated, who opened fire and created panic by threatening to detonate in front of the place of worship. But the explosive belt was a fake.

But neither the army nor the Austrian police were able to block the flood of social media messages. After social networks were filled with images and information from the center of Vienna, the authorities asked, also on social networks, the Viennese to stop and upload on a special platform all the images and data they have of Mancha. Not the other way around, but the situation is still extremely confusing.

As soon as the Vienna police announced on Twitter that they were asking locals to stay home, to avoid the city center, a user with an Arabic name commented dryly: “You haven’t seen anything yet!”
