The results of a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine show that Remdesivir shortens recovery time. The study involved 1,062 patients: some received Remdesivir, some placebo.

The New England Journal of Medicine on Saturday published the results of a study by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Mediafax reports.
The results show that Remdesivir was superior to placebo in the short recovery time in adults who were hospitalized for COVID-19 and had evidence of lower respiratory tract infection.
For 10 days, the patients received Remdesivir or placebo.
The study was conducted in 1,062 patients.
Those who received Remdesivir recovered in 10 days, compared to those who received placebo, where the recovery lasted 15 days.
