Sources: PNL Plan to solve the problem of special pensions for parliamentarians

USR announced this Tuesday to its parliamentarians to waive special pensions, PSD, through the voice of Marcel Ciolacu, specified that in the last days of his mandate they will also resign. Liberal sources assure that the relocation of the PNL will be the request to remove from the drawer a project of the leading deputy, Florin Román.

The Liberal leader presented a bill in May to eliminate special pensions for parliamentarians. The legislative initiative remained in a drawer of the Legal Commission, having given so far two favorable opinions only from the Legislative Council and the Economic and Social Council.

PNL, along with PSD and USR, also tried to eliminate special pensions for parliamentarians in January, but the parties adopted a bill that was declared unconstitutional by CCR. In fact, all three parties knew that such a project, in the form of that time, could not pass the RCC.

An alternative to the elimination of special pensions was their drastic imposition, and Parliament approved a bill, but it was attacked in the RCC by the Ombudsman and the Supreme Court. The deadline for this file is December 8, that is, two days after the election.
