The vice president of the Health Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, USR deputy Emanuel Ungureanu, announced his departure from the USR Cluj branch at the beginning of last week, in a conference on Facebook. The reasons for the departure invoked by Ungureanu were the existence of “small churches” and “gangs”, but also a sabotage from within, practiced by his companions. The deputy also gave some names: the president of the branch, Cătălin Sălăgean, and Elek Levente and Radu Molnar. The latter is also the one who took Ungureanu’s face on the eligible list. The deputy also specified that the leaders of the USR-PLUS alliance had nothing to do with his “manipulation.”
Since then, Ungureanu has not talked about leaving USR, but only about changing the organization. “I will not leave USR because I did not join this party for a position. I will leave USR Cluj, the leadership of the organization rejected me, they preferred my colleague Radu Molnar. I will move to another organization that supports and appreciates me.”
