Political sources told Pro TV News that a meeting of the National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) is taking place today, in which a possible restriction of night traffic in Romania will be discussed.
The CNSU meeting will take place before the Government meeting, scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
At this Government meeting, the decision on the decision of the National Committee for Emergency Situations, which establishes mandatory use of a protective mask in localities of regions where the contagion rate for the new coronavirus exceeds 1.5 per thousand inhabitants.
On Monday, November 2, the CNSU approved Decision No. 51:
“(1) It is proposed to modify the value of the cumulative incidence rate of cases in the last 14 days from which the use of a protective mask to cover the nose and mouth is mandatory, for all persons who have complied 5 years, in all public spaces, open, in the sense of reducing it from 3 to 1.5 / 1,000 inhabitants.
(2) The measure envisaged in para. (1) will be applied at the level of all the localities of a county, if the cumulative incidence rate of cases in the last 14 days in its level exceeds 1.5 / 1,000 inhabitants, and if at the county level the cumulative incidence rate of cases in the last 14 days it is less than or equal to 1.5 / 1,000 inhabitants, the measure will be applied at the level of localities where it exceeds 1.5 / 1,000 inhabitants.
At the same time, by the same decision, CNSU updated the list of states and areas of high epidemiological risk for which it is established. quarantine measure on people arriving in Romania.
On Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister Raluca Turcan said that it could not be a restriction of night traffic at the national level, but only in towns and areas where the infection rate is high.
