According to DNA, between November 2019 and February 28, 2020, Sorina Pintea allegedly claimed and received, through an intermediary, from the representatives of a company, in two installments, the amounts of 10,000 euros (on December 20, 2019) and 120,000 lei (on February 28, 2020), which would not have been due, which represents a percentage of 7% of the value of a public procurement contract that aimed at the design and execution of the works of layout of the operating room: cardiovascular and thoracic surgery room and some adjacent spaces of the ‘Dr. County Emergency Hospital Constantin Opriş ‘Baia Mare, concluded in 2019.

According to investigators, Sorina Pintea allegedly received the money within the medical unit she ran.
