The towns of Otopeni and Popeşti-Leordeni and the communes of Corbeanca and Dobroești in Ilfov county remain in quarantine for another seven days. The four localities entered into zonal quarantine on November 20, but the epidemiological situation is insufficiently improved, so the measure was taken to extend the quarantine for another seven days.

Thus, the quarantine extends in Corbeanca, Dobroeşti, Otopeni and Popeşti-Leordeni from January 2 at 10:00 p.m., the Ilfov county prefecture announced on Friday. The measure also targets the villages belonging to it (Ostratu, Petreşti, Tamaşi, Corbeanca, Fundeni, Dobroești, Popeşti-Leordeni).

Also on Friday the zonal quarantine measure was extended for a period of 7 days in the town of Bragadiru and in the commune of Chiajna, starting on January 1 at 10:00 p.m.

The extension of the zonal quarantine measure for the six towns of Ilfov was proposed as a result of the focal area risk analyzes prepared by the Ilfov Public Health Directorate and the approvals issued by the National Institute of Public Health, the states of the Prefecture.

Mogosoaia comes out of quarantine

The Mogoşoaia commune, which has been in quarantine since November 20, will be excluded from the incidence of this measure as of Saturday, January 2 at 22:00, the Ilfov county prefecture also reported.
