This week, several disturbing images with the queue of dricks formed in the morgue of the Craiova County Hospital were disseminated on social media.
The images, captured by a Craiova resident, were initially posted on Reddit, and the hospital manager, Laurențiu Ivanovici, confirmed their authenticity for Gazeta de Sud. She also specified that the respective photos were taken on Tuesday, when the number of deaths in the hospital was discharged, most of them for COVID.
“There were many deaths on Tuesday and Wednesday. The photo was taken on Tuesday.“Laurențiu Ivanovici said.
The hospital manager also specified that on Tuesday there were 15 patients discharged from the hospital morgue, of which 13 deaths were associated with COVID.
