Police searched the home of manele singer Dani Mocanu on Wednesday morning, in whose video an injured lion appeared.
Police descended on three directions in Ilfov and Argeș.

The singer of Manele, Dani Mocanu, released a video in which a lion appears full of wounds, and the images caused a wave of indignation on the internet.
As a result of the information that appeared in the public space, the Arge police announced the opening of a criminal case, in which the mistreatment and cruelty against animals are controlled, respectively, on the conditions of possession of the animal that appears in the images.
The objective of the controls is to establish all the circumstances in which the events occurred, identify and listen to all the people involved, as well as verify the provision of medical attention, care and shelter to the animal in the film.
Mocanu said the lion was treated “like a baby” and that the wounds are part of the direction and represent a “professional makeup”.
The video has more than 4.3 million views and has received a wave of criticism.
