The reaction of the Ialomița General School Inspection in the case of the child beaten by the educator
The incident drew the attention of the school administration, but also the Ialomița School Inspectorate, which ordered the first disciplinary measures against him. The teacher was expelled from the school.
Steluța Iuliana Mitrea, ISJ Ialomița inspector general, told Digi24 that the teacher was fired and was no longer allowed access to kindergarten.
“It is the measure that we had to urgently take. I would like to inform the public that as of today the lady did not have access to kindergarten. Last night I received the footage, including comments from parents. It is outrageous what happened, it does not take a specialist to realize that the little ones were terrified by the kindergarten teacher assigned to the “Aurel Vlaicu” Fetești school. Immediately after seeing the film, I agreed with the school leadership to convene the board of directors. At 750, a colleague from the school inspection and I were present. The educator denied it, said that it is not seen in the film that he hit the child, ”said ISJ Inspector General Ialomița.
“I gave him three options, resignation, request for withdrawal or disciplinary investigation. Is that the disciplinary investigation is of long duration, a commission is summoned, the investigation itself is carried out and then the respective commission prepares a report from which the Board of Directors establishes the sanction. All this time, the educator would have been present in the group of children, which we did not want. I asked the lady not to enter the nursery, I held the meeting in another building, “he added.
Asked about the condition of the children, the school inspector explained that she went to class and the students seemed happy in the absence of the teacher.
“The children were fine without the educator, which we can’t see on the set. Apart from the abusive behavior of the educator Vasile Olga, he violated the rules regarding the filming and distribution in the public space of the children’s activities, without the consent of the parents. My parents confirmed that they did not consent to the filming of the classes, ”said Mirea.
The boy’s parents filed a complaint against the Fetești educator
“The parents of the beaten child have already filed a complaint with the Fetești municipal police. I advised her not to withdraw the complaint, even though the teacher was expelled from the school. She will bear the consequences of her actions. Psychological assistance will be provided. , the child refused to come to kindergarten today, only his parents came. The other children behaved normally in the absence of the educator. According to the management of the school where the kindergarten is located, the educator Olga Vasile would have had another notification of this type, mediated by the director. The incident at that time did not reach the School Inspection.
