The Bucharest General Council meeting, in which the deputy mayors of the Capital should be validated, was suspended for an hour after PSD councilors refused to leave the room and quarreled with the mayor general, Nicușor Dan.
The dispute between the mayor and the PSD councilors began after their refusal to participate online in the meeting, for health reasons.
The Mayor General called the meeting with the online participation of the councilors, from the group room of each party, in order to avoid overcrowding the City Council meeting room.

PSD councilors, led by Auerilan Bădulescu, refused to participate online and entered the room.

A summons order is a tool, but that doesn’t mean you can evacuate the room for no reason. Let us know which article is based on which to impose such a measure, ”said the leader of the PSD councilors.
Nicușo Dan asked them to be responsible and asked that the meeting be suspended until the councilors were evacuated.
“Let’s be responsible. Let’s start this term in a responsible and collegial manner. I made a call based on the administrative code in which I arranged that each of the political groups will participate in this meeting in the room of the reserved group. You must comply with this call. Only at the time of voting, they are expected to come and vote in secret. This is the form of meeting that I ask you to respect, “said the mayor general.
The meeting was suspended for an hour.
