PMP Vice President Mihail Neamţu made an analysis on Facebook about the reasons why the party scored poorly in the parliamentary elections, without crossing the electoral threshold of 5%. He speaks of “favoritism, nepotism and clientelism”, and highlights that the nut in the cage at the head of the party was the candidacy of a lady (and a mother) whom I respect, but who did not have electoral traction: Elena Băsescu. Later, Elena Băsescu asked the lawyer to delete the statements, claiming that her image was denigrated.
