The Parliament session for the investiture of the Florin Cîţu Government started on Wednesday. The meeting is chaired by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Ludovic Orban, who announced that 363 parliamentarians of the 455 validated have registered their presence, reports Agerpres. Some politicians booed in parliament.
All the proposed ministers were approved by the specialized parliamentary commissions, this being an advisory opinion.
Prime Minister-designate Florin Cîţu will present the Government’s program and list, followed by parliamentary debates and vote on the application to grant Parliament’s confidence on the program and the complete Cabinet list.

In accordance with the Constitution and the regulations of the joint sessions of Parliament, the Legislative Power trusts the Government with the vote of the majority of the deputies and senators. The vote is secret, with balls. At least half plus one of the members of both Houses of Parliament must be present.
Once adopted, the Parliament Decision on granting the vote of confidence is signed by the President of the Chamber of Deputies and the President of the Senate and is immediately transmitted to the President of Romania to proceed with the appointment of the Government. The Prime Minister, the Ministers and the other members of the Government will take an oath individually before the President of Romania, and the Government as a whole and each member will exercise their mandate from the date on which they take the oath.
