The Romanian police acquires a facial recognition system within a contract worth 4,779,000 lei. Police purchase facial identification software, servers, licenses, and storage solutions, as well as training for more than 200 people. The main place of execution is the IGPR headquarters.

According to data published in SEAP, the contract was awarded through a tender to Dataware Consulting.
