The president of the UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, declared that he is satisfied with the result obtained by the party he leads and that the “first step” is the investment of a government with a solid majority in the center-right Parliament.

“The first step: invest in a government with political stability and support a government that will pass a budget law very quickly because it is the most important law that must be voted on before the new year,” Kelemen said.

The president of the UDRM said he has not had negotiations so far, but prefers a center-right government.

“We have not had discussions on a coalition, but I can tell you that Romania needs a stable government with a solid center-right parliamentary majority. President Iohannis can choose any solution because no one has won by 50% + 1. Probably, as he announced during this period, he will make a well-known choice, ”said Kelemen Hunor.

He specified that the result of the UDMR is good and that the percentage of voting at the ballot box will remain even after the votes are counted.

“It is a good result, a balanced result. Our percentage of more than 6% will remain even after completing the counters. It is a vote for the Hungarian community in Romania,” said the UDMR leader.
