In the last 24 hours, 7,733 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported, a record of coronavirus infections since the start of the pandemic. Another 120 Romanians died after being infected with the Sars-Cov-2 virus, while 974 COVID patients are hospitalized in ATI, the largest number of patients in serious condition.
To date, on November 3, in Romania, 258,437 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
181,175 patients were declared cured.
Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 7,733 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.
The coefficient of accumulated infections at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the municipal and county levels of Bucharest.
Aside from the recently confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 1,326 people were positively reconfirmed.
To date, 7,273 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 02.11.2020 (10:00) – 03.11.2020 (10:00) 120 deaths were reported (70 men and 50 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Dolj, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Mureș, Neamhova, Sltăva, Prajá, Timi Surance, Prajá, Surance Ilfov and Bucharest.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 30-39 years, 3 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 7 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 34 deaths in the age category age 60-69 years, 38 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 37 deaths in the category over 80 years.
114 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities, 4 deceased patients did not present comorbidities, and for 2 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported to date.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 11,897. Of these, 974 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 3,305,309 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 30,336 were performed in the last 24 hours, 17,698 based on the case definition and medical protocol, and 12,638 upon request.
Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 103 tests processed before the last 24 hours and delivered until November 3 have been reported.
In Romania, 31,674 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 11,289 people are in institutional isolation. Additionally, 58,021 people are in home quarantine and 18 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 3,861 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 1,377 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform citizens.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 6,229 sanctions for minor offenses, in the amount of 831,880 lei.
Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 4 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.
We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.
The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,853 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 159 in the Kingdom United, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 7 in the United Arab Emirates and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar , Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of the Congo and one in Greece, they have died.
Among Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
