Another 1,552 people have been infected with coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Romania, so that Romania exceeds 120,000 infections. Another 54 patients died, three of them without other diseases. More than 500 patients are in serious condition.
To date, 121,235 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed in Romania. 97,554 patients were declared cured.
After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 1,552 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
To date, 4,687 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.
In the last 24 hours, 54 dead (28 men and 26 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Botoșani, Brașov, Călărași, Cluj, Constanța, Dolj, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Hunedoara, Iași , Maramureș, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiș, Tulcea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 20-29 years, 3 deaths in the age group 50 to 59 years, 14 deaths in the age category 60 to 69 years, 16 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 20 deaths in the category over 80 years.
51 of the registered deaths are of some patients who presented comorbidities, and for To date, no comorbidities have been reported in 3 deceased patients.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,249. Of these, 512 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 2,352,650 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these 24,231 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 14,748 according to the case definition and medical protocol and 9,483 upon request. Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 97 tests processed before the last 24 hours and delivered until September 26 have been reported.
