Romania has exceeded 10,000 daily illnesses

Romania has exceeded the threshold of 10,000 daily infections. In the last 24 hours, 10,260 new cases have been reported. Another 123 Romanians died due to coronavirus infections. 1001 COVID patients are admitted to intensive care.

To date, on November 6, in Romania, 287,062 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

195,971 patients were declared cured.

Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, 10,260 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were recorded, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Only three provinces are included in the green scenario, in the rest of the provinces the coefficient of 1.5 / thousand is exceeded.

Apart from the recently confirmed cases, after reassessment of patients who were already positive, 2,035 people were positively reconfirmed.

To date, 7,663 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 05.11.2020 (10:00) – 06.11.2020 (10:00) 123 deaths were reported (69 men and 54 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomișa, Iașiâcea, Mahedinraaacea, Silacea, Silacea, Silacea, Sibiu Tula , Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 20 to 29 years, 2 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 13 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 36 deaths in the age category of age 60 to 69 years, 36 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 35 deaths in the category over 80 years.

119 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities and so far no comorbidities have been reported in 4 deceased patients.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 12,133. Of these, 1,001 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 3,418,245 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 38,389 were performed in the last 24 hours, 21,568 based on case definition and medical protocol and 16,830 on request.

Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 238 tests processed before the last 24 hours and delivered until November 6 have been reported.

In Romania, 40,615 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 10,186 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 66,563 people are in home quarantine and 14 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 4,535 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 918 of the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 8,334 sanctions for minor offenses, worth 1,057,005 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, 7 crimes were found yesterday to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.

The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,854 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 159 in the Kingdom United, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar , Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of the Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Among Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
