Romania coronavirus. The most affected areas of the country. Alarming situation in Bucharest and in several counties

According to the data made public on Sunday, October 25 by the authorities, 209,648 cases of people infected by the new coronavirus (COVID-19) were confirmed in Romanian territory. 149,741 patients were declared cured.

Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, 3,855 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) were recorded, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

The data released by the authorities shows that, on Sunday, the majority of new cases of infections were registered in: Bucharest – 555, Alba – 227, Cluj – 164, Dolj – 164, Timis – 160, Sibiu – 150, Iasi – 144,
