Raluca Prună, a former Minister of Justice, claims that if it is true that Laurențiu Baranga forged her high school diploma, then she must return all the public money she received by illegally occupying positions for which she had no minimum training, namely high school. . She rhetorically asks how such a person could become head of ORNIS in a NATO and EU member state. Last but not least, Raluca Prună demands the resignation of all those who were “accomplices” of Baranga and did not do their job.
“If it is true that he falsified his baccalaureate, Mr. Baranga must return all the public money he received for holding positions illegally because it seems that he did not have the minimum training, that is, the baccalaureate.
I also have a rhetorical question for all those who have control powers in Romania. How is it possible in a NATO and EU member country for such a person to become head of ORNIS, head of the Office for the Prevention and Fight against Money Laundering? This is not a coincidence, it is just ANOTHER SERIOUS violation of national security. Are these people, appointed to these positions, the object of any selection?
Those who by the nature of our work must have the authorization of the Romanian authorities, we have been waiting for more than 1 year to be verified. We fill out ridiculous questionnaires in which they ask us how many times we leave the country, where exactly and in what exact period. 14 years after EU integration, almost 20 years since the EU visas were withdrawn!
We are surprised that the statement “I cannot specify the exact number of departures from Romania because I live in another country and travel a lot” is sufficient for the flow forks of a diseased system. A flawed system that otherwise allows people like Baranga to occupy positions of heads in the institutions that control us.
What a shame, that all those who were accomplices of Baranga resigned and you did not do your job!
PS: I have no illusions that I will ever receive the ORNIS soon, even though I had it by law as a member of the government and a member of the CSAT. I will not pass the projection of any Baranga or of those who invent Barangi ”, writes Raluca Prună on Facebook.
On Saturday, police officers searched the home in Râmnicu Vâlcea of an official under investigation for fraud, after allegedly presenting falsified employment documents.
“According to the falsified study documents, the investigated person held an important position in a public institution, works in higher education institutions and currently holds a high-ranking public position,” says the Romanian Police.
The president of the National Office to Prevent and Combat Money Laundering, Laurenţiu Baranga, resigned on Thursday.
