A Sintești man who had a bag containing 650,000 lei stolen from his car set out in pursuit of the alleged thieves, who had fled in another car, and in Jilava the chase as in the movies led to an accident involving no less than seven vehicles. Three injured people were taken to a hospital in Bucharest, Ilfov Police report. However, the alleged perpetrators of the robbery managed to go unnoticed.
On Tuesday around 5:44 pm, officers from the Ilfov County Police Inspectorate were notified that an accident had occurred in Jilava, involving several cars. After almost ten minutes, another person called and announced that his nephew had been involved in an accident and that a bag containing 650,000 lei had been stolen, which he had left in a car. parked in front of the apartment building, in Sintești.
When the Măgurele police arrived at the scene of the accident, they did not find the persons suspected of having committed the robbery, but they did find a car, identified by the injured as the one used by the perpetrators. The accident, in which seven vehicles participated, supposedly occurred while the injured person was following the vehicle in which the suspects of having committed the denounced act were traveling.
The chain accident caused injuries to three people, as well as material damage.
“Currently, the police are conducting investigations to identify the perpetrators of the alleged crime, detect them and establish the exact situation and fact, and in law, as well as to take the necessary legal measures,” said a statement from LEI Ilfov.
