Secretary of State Raed Arafat has advised those intending to leave the country this winter not to make plans for vacations abroad.

  • “I tell you in a very direct and honest way: let’s look at the situation, nobody knows what it will be in a month, two, three. None. So the risk is to get a ticket, pay the money and in the end not arrive, whoever wants to do something better stays in the country and organizes in the country, to be able to do what we can organize, but the risk of making plans with Remaining in other countries is important, everyone does what they think, but they must understand that there is also the risk that the country will impose restrictions, not necessarily Romania, and may not arrive. That is the reality of the situation in which we find ourselves at the moment, ”declared Raed Arafat on Wednesday night, in a speech on TVR.

“The greater the number of cases and the impact on the health system, the more restrictive and serious the measures to be taken should be. We try not to reach a total closure. It all depends on how we work together to prevent further growth. For the moment, the figures, especially those that appear on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, are higher than those that appeared last week, they are higher than those that appeared a week before. It is a significant increase and I must call the attention of the population to stop believing all those who are trying to question the measures, ”said Raed Arafat.

He mentioned that the measures adopted in Romania are comparable to those taken in other states and invites those who have proposals on health management to send them to the authorities.

“The only way to overcome this is by working together. Those who have to criticize, if they come up with better solutions, it’s great to come up with them! If they can’t find better solutions, then accept the solutions they are given, and urge the population to break the rules means urging the population to become, at least some of them, victims of the infection and perhaps some of their relatives or even victims in wanting to lose their lives (…) Who has proposals better, more consistent, to propose them to send them and we can analyze them ”, also affirmed the Secretary of State of the Ministry of the Interior.
