The quarantine was extended for seven days, starting on Friday, starting at 22:00, in the city of Bragadiru and the commune of Chiajna, with the afferent towns, reports the Institution of the Ilfov County Prefect.

The Ilfov County Emergency Situations Committee proposed this measure, and Raed Arafat, the head of the Emergency Situations Department (DSU), issued the necessary orders.

The extension of the zonal quarantine measure for the two localities was proposed as a result of the risk analyzes prepared by the Ilfov Public Health Directorate and the approvals issued by the National Institute of Public Health.

According to data transmitted by DSP Ilfov, the cumulative incidence rate of COVID-19 calculated on Friday is 8.85 / 1,000 inhabitants in Bragadiru and 8.01 / 1,000 inhabitants in the commune of Chiajna.

On Thursday, authorities extended the quarantine measure in Berceni for seven days.

Last Saturday, the quarantine had been extended seven days for the towns of Corbeanca, Dobroeşti, Măgurele, Mogoşoaia, Otopeni and Popeşti Leordeni. Here, the quarantine is valid until Saturday, December 12 at 10:00 p.m., unless a new extension is decided.

Instead, the town of Clinceni in Ilfov came out of quarantine.
