The president of the PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, underwent the COVID-19 test on Monday and isolated himself until the result was known.
According to some party sources, Ciolacu was tested after several of his colleagues were detected with the new coronavirus, including Simona Bucura Oprescu and Radu Moldovan, Agerpres reports.
PSD Secretary General Paul Stănescu also did the test and isolated himself.
According to Pro TV News sources, Florina Presadă, a USR senator, is said to be infected, as she is in fact the direct contact of PSD leader Marcel Ciolacu.
At the same time, the deputy of the PSD of Argeş, Simona Bucura Oprescu, announced on Tuesday that she was confirmed with COVID-19 and was hospitalized, her condition being stable, reports Agerpres.

My health is stable at the moment and I am hospitalized in Mioveni, where I have great confidence in the professionalism of the medical staff who have successfully treated hundreds of other patients so far. “wrote Simona Bucura Oprescu on her Facebook page.
Advises citizens not to question the existence of the disease and to protect themselves.

Simona Bucura Oprescu is in her second term as a deputy for Argeş, being elected by the PSD in 2012 and 2016.
