Several hundred people are protesting in Bucharest on Saturday, with most of the protesters in Victoriei Square.

“People, democracy is over. He still has to make a presidential republic and he will have mandates like those of Putin and Ceausescu,” said a protester, quoted by Antena 3.

The protests take place on the day authorities announced that 1,324 people were hospitalized in ATI, a record number since the start of the pandemic. In the last 24 hours, 6,096 new infections were registered and 112 people died.

Among the participants in the event were Adriana Bahmuţeanu, Luis Lazarus, but also Senator Diana Şoşoacă, a former AUR member, who affirms that “there is no pandemic”.

“There is no pandemic, I will not give up until these people are fired! The vaccination group does not even have a doctor, there are government spokesmen or ministries that do nothing more than be settlers and absolutely all of them are part of the services, that’s why I am not allowed to give their names, but I will disclose whatever. I can, because you are not dating a lawyer. There are people who should lead this so-called pandemic, because we do not have a pandemic, there is not even a declared epidemic in Romania. You cannot certify a pandemic until you discover that you have an epidemic in your own country. It is logical to get out of the law. I will not leave until these people are fired and we will not have professionals. Justice leaves much to be desired, all part of the fault of justice, ”said Şoşoacă, according to the cited source.

Other protesters from the capital gathered in the University Square and then marched towards Izvor Park.

Protests are also taking place in Cluj, where GOLD leader George Simion is among the participants. Other similar events take place in Brasov, Galati and Constanta.
