Until this edition of Roland Garros, the best result achieved by Iga Swiatek in a Grand Slam, at the senior level, was the presence in the fourth round of the Australian Open, earlier this year.

Due to the success of the French Open, Iga Swiatek will climb 37 places in the WTA hierarchy on Monday, from 54 to 17, thus marking the best ranking of her career.
