Mourning in the political world in Iași: the former deputy of Iași, Luminița Iordache, died of an incurable disease. The death was confirmed by the relatives of the former politician. Luminița Iordache was a deputy from Iași between 2008 and 2012, initially from the PSD and, later, since 2010 independently (affiliated to UNPR). She was one of the founders of UNPR. Between 2000 and 2008 she held various management positions in the PSD Iai county organization and, throughout the period, she held the position of county councilor.

Luminița Iordache actively participated in the political environment, participating in the activity of the UNPR. Gabriel Oprea, who led the Union and was deputy prime minister, recalls that Luminița Iordache “fought for the rights of the army and the police, for the rights of women, children and pensioners.”
