Patient registry in ATI. More than 9,000 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 9,005 new cases of COVID-19 were registered, of the 36,271 tests carried out. Another 171 Romanians died after becoming infected with coronavirus, while 1,226 COVID patients are hospitalized for intensive care.

To date, on November 26, in Romania, 449,349 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
323,514 patients were declared cured.

Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 9,005 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

The coefficient of infections accumulated at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the level of the municipality and the counties of Bucharest. Apart from the newly confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 1,338 people were positively confirmed.

To date, 10,712 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 25.11.2020 (10:00) – 26.11.2020 (10:00) 171 deaths (105 men and 66 women) were reported, of patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Bacău, Bistrița -Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Ialomița, Iași, Mureși, Săișlaj, Sibcean , Vrancea and Bucharest.

Of these, 5 deaths were recorded in the age category 40 to 49 years, 22 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 34 deaths in the age category 60 to 69 years, 57 deaths in the age category of age 70 to 79 years and 53 deaths over 80 years.

163 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities, 4 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 4 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported to date.

In health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 13,248. Of these, 1,226 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 4,011,887 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 36,271 were performed in the last 24 hours, 22,829 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 13,442 upon request.

Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 620 tests processed before the last 24 hours and delivered until November 26 have been reported.

In Romania, 48,458 people confirmed with a new coronavirus infection are in home isolation and 12,376 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 70,873 people are quarantined at home, and there are 58 people in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 5,095 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 716 on the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 25 of this year, 6,652 penalties for minor offenses, in the amount of 1,090,675 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 4 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

„We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions of health protection regulations can be notified. The calls are handled by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects ”, affirms GCS.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,875 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,935 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in the Kingdom United, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 10 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates, 11 in the Republic of Moldova and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan , Sweden, Republic of Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of the Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Among Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
