Health Minister Nelu Tătaru announced on Tuesday that parents will no longer be required to give a statement on their own responsibility before sending their children to school and that it will be replaced by an observation classification.
“It will no longer be that statement under one’s own responsibility, it will be an observational triage. When necessary, epidemiological triage will be performed by qualified medical personnel. If a child is suspicious, it is limited to a medical evaluation. Each child will be accompanied and any decision will be made with the consent of the parents. Kindergarten children up to the age of 5 will not wear a mask. We will follow the rules imposed according to each scenario. We believe that most schools can operate in scenario 1, but it is at the discretion of the schools, ”said Nelu Tătaru on Tuesday.
He specified that the decision on the scenarios to be applied will be left to the schools. The Minister of Health specified that the INPS will present a diagnosis of the situation in each locality.
“On September 7, this evaluation will be given at the 10 school unit boards that will present to the DSPs scenarios where they have decided how to start the school year. Field evaluation is performed by DSPs and ISPs.
