NLP leader Ludovic Orban tells USR to “consume less energy when inventing conflicts with NLP and focus on the battle with PSD.” The statements take place a day after the scandal of the appointment of Florin Iordache to the head of the Legislative Council, in which PNL and USR accused each other of fighting with the PSD.
- “It consumes too much energy, our opponent is the PSD, with all the evils it brings to Romania. Our goal is to win the elections, win the PSD and get the PSD out of the buttons. (…) I think we have shown that we can collaborate , we won the Bucharest elections together, we won together, for example, in Vrancea (…) I advise my younger colleagues to consume less energy to invent conflicts with NLP, to focus on the battle with PSD “, said Ludovic Orban, on Thursday, in Giurgiu, according to Agerpres.
He affirmed that there is no “scandal” between the PNL and the USR, the real problem being the promotion of Florin Iordache to this position by the PSD.
- “There is no scandal, both we and the USR attack the election of Florin Iordache. The scandal itself is that a majority controlled by the PSD and its allies could make such an inept decision to put such a person at the head of the Legislative Council. “This is the worst that has happened in Parliament. Otherwise, I do not want to respond to comments that seem out of place,” added Ludovic Orban.
