NLP Senator Alina Gorghiu said the decision followed the natural course of Ludovic Orban’s status in NLP.
“Yes, there was today (Wednesday – no) a vote in BPN according to which we want the presidency of the Chamber for Ludovic Orban. It is absolutely natural. It is the party that obtained the most votes in this coalition. The Chamber of Deputies is a chamber of decision and, naturally, due to the coherence of the legislative act, the natural association between the Government, the President and the Legislature, we would like this point to be reached ”, said Alina Gorghiu.
The PNL senator specified that there was no official discussion within the party about the ministries.
“The only thing we agreed with Ludovic Orban is that we still want a flexible structure, we don’t want the establishment of ministries and paramedics, because that is not the solution. A flexible structure is efficient and can carry out the projects proposed by everyone in the government program, ”said Alina Gorghiu as well.
Also on Wednesday, Finance Minister Florin Cîțu was voted in by the BPN PNL members as a proposal from the Prime Minister’s party. There was only one abstention.
