After two consecutive days of decline, the incidence rate of COVID-19 cases is starting to increase again in some counties, such as Brasov, Cluj, Constanta, Timis or Salaj. In contrast, the rate is slightly decreasing in Bucharest and Sibiu.
The coefficient of infections accumulated at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the level of the municipality and the counties of Bucharest.

Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 9,005 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test. The county breakdown of the total and new cases can be found in the table below.
