On Christmas Eve, former PSD leader Adrian Nastase says he does not understand why Liviu Dragnea was completely abandoned by his former party colleagues, given that he has significant medical problems.
“Liviu Dragnea made many mistakes as president of the PSD. However, his condemnation for the referendum and for the two employees who also worked for the party clearly bears the stamp of a political execution. The reasons, probably both internal and external.
The result was achieved: his removal from the political scene.
What I don’t understand is his treatment in prison – lack of right to work, lack of possibility of medical consultation for health problems, lack of transparency about his infection with covid-19, etc.
And there is one more thing that I do not understand: the lack of solidarity and humanitarian concern for him on the part of his former party colleagues ”, writes Adrian Năstase on the blog.
Liviu Dragnea told his girlfriend, Irina Tănase, that he was going to be transferred from the Jilava Hospital-Penitentiary, where he was hospitalized because he was infected with the new coronavirus, in Ploiești or Timișoara.
