The Bucharest Committee for Emergency Situations (CMBSU) met on Sunday to take action, after the incidence of COVID-19 cases rose from 3 per thousand.
Thus, from Sunday night (March 7) to Monday (March 8), from 00:00 hours, various restrictions come into force, including the closure of restaurants.
“The activity with the public of economic operators that carry out activities of preparation, marketing and consumption of food and / or alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, such as restaurants and cafeterias, inside buildings, as well as inside other public spaces Closed with roofs is prohibited, roof or roof and that are delimited by at least two walls, regardless of whether they are temporary or permanent constructions“, stipulates the decision of the CMBSU.
The normative act also stipulates that Activity in bars, clubs and discos, as well as with the public of licensed economic operators in the field of gambling, is prohibited., except for the commercialization of LOTO tickets, bets and lottery tickets, in compliance with health protection measures.
CMBSU trial prohibits the organization and development of activity with the public in cinemas, entertainment institutions and / or concerts, including those of the drive-in type.
It is also not allowed to organize and carry out outdoor performances, concerts, public and private festivals or other cultural events.
The use of a protective mask is mandatory, to cover the nose and mouth of all people who have reached the age of 5, in all open public spaces.
Students keep going to class
In addition, CMBSU has decided that they will attend preschool classes, elementary school students and up to half of the students in grades VIII, XII, XIII and those in the last years of vocational and post-secondary education.
The measures were ordered by CMBSU as of March 8, at 00:00 hours, for a period of 14 days, and will be reevaluated at the end of the same.
The decision establishes that in educational units participation in classes is carried out with physical presence for: all preschoolers and primary school students; students in grades VIII, XII, XIII, and those in the last years of professional and post-secondary education, in compliance with and application of all protection regulations, up to half of the total number of students enrolled in those final classes.
The following activities are allowed to be organized with physical presence in educational units: simulations of national exams and exams of recent years; national assessments; make-up classes for all classes.
The situation of COVID cases in the Capital
The infection rate in Bucharest was 3.12 per thousand on Saturday, after more than 900 cases of infection were confirmed in the last 2 days. On Saturday, the Strategic Communication Group announced 906 cases and 927 on Friday.
