The mayor of Sector 1 of the Capital, Clotilde Armand, criticizes Nicușor Dan for the statements about the situation of garbage in Sector 1: “I ask you not to complicate things unnecessarily”, according to Mediafax.
I heard the Mayor General’s statements about the garbage situation in Sector 1. Now, I don’t know if the current mayor is also aware of the contract of the sanitation company with the Sector 1 City Council … but I appreciate that he offered us a solution: pay invoices issued illegally by this company ”, transmits Clotilde Armand.
It reminds the Mayor General of the Capital, Nicușor Dan, that there is a decision of the Court of Auditors according to which the rates of sanitation service have been illegally increased.
Therefore, we can annul the decision of the Court of Auditors that ruled that the sanitation service rates have been illegally increased, we can annul the fact that we do not have a voted and allocated budget for the invoices and we cannot make the budget correction due to the deficit of one billion lei. We can go through the DNA file on the illegal rate hike. But can we get over the fact that we started checking the bills issued by the sanitation company and found by analyzing the GPS devices of the cars that the billed services were not provided? If we can do all this, then I publicly ask the Mayor General of Bucharest to send us a provision signed / initialed by him assuming the payment of the bills. All the experts and the entire apparatus of the Sector 1 City Council will be delighted. I promise we will do our best and deliver. Until then, I ask you not to complicate things unnecessarily ”, concludes Armand.
Nicușor Dan believes that the Sector 1 City Council, led by Clotilde Armand, must comply with the current contract with the sanitation company and ensure that garbage is collected from the streets.
“In sector 1 there is a conflict between the sanitation operator and the City Council of Sector 1 over a contract that is in operation. How that contract was signed is a subject that can be discussed. But at this moment, I consider that a contract that is in force must be executed, that is, the City Council must pay the operator for this service, so that the garbage can be collected from the streets. So, it is a responsibility that the Sector 1 City Council has and I hope to pay for it ”, declared on Tuesday night, in Digi24, the Mayor General of the Capital, Nicușor Dan.
