The Liberals would get 173 seats for senators and deputies in the new Parliament, if they obtain the same score as the locals, according to a simulation carried out by the PNL, based on the votes of the September 27 elections, and consulted by HotNews.ro .

The second party in terms of number of seats would be the PSD, with 164. Third would be the USR, with 54. The PMP would obtain 31 seats in the future Parliament and the UDMR 26.

ALDE and Pro Romania would not enter the new Parliament if they did not increase their local vote, according to the NLP simulation. Constitutionally, minorities have 17 guaranteed seats.

In such a configuration, NLP could not get a majority with USR alone, without 6 votes. Thus, liberals and users could choose a collaboration with minorities, PMP or UDMR.

How would the mandates be divided if they were voted on the premises?

  • NLP – 120 deputies / 53 senators – 173
  • PSD – 114 deputies / 50 senators – 164
  • USR – 38 deputies / 16 senators- 54
  • UDMR – 18 deputies / 8 senators- 26
  • PMP – 21 deputies / 9 senators – 31

+ Minorities – 17 deputies
