The final results of the elections for the City Council of the capital announced by the Permanent Electoral Authority on Monday, more than a week after the elections, show that Nicușor Dan was elected mayor general by 282,631 (42.81%) of the Bucharestians present at the polls, while Gabriela Firea obtained 250,690 votes (37.97%).
According to the cited source, in the September 27 elections, 672,004 people from those registered on the electoral lists went to the polls and 660,118 validly cast votes were registered.
The results published by AEP show that Traian Băsescu, the PMP candidate, obtained 72,556 votes, the Green Party candidate, actor Florin Călinescu, received 13,742 votes, and the ALDE leader, Călin Popescu Tăriceanu, obtained 9,892 votes.

Sector 1:
- Clotilde Armand (USR-PLUS Alliance, supported by PNL) – 36,455 votes (40.94%)
- Current Mayor Daniel Tudorache (PSD) – 35,451 votes (39.81%)
Sector 2:
- Radu Nicolae Mihaiu (USR-PLUS Alliance) – 42.094 (36.90%)
- Dan-Cristian Popescu – 35,920 votes (31.49%)
- Neculai Onțanu (ADER-PPU SOCIAL-LIBERAL electoral alliance) – 16,035 votes (14.05%)
Sector 3:
- Robert Negoiță (PRO Alliance Bucharest 2020) – 58,786 votes (43.74%)
- Adrian-Flavius Moraru (NLP) – 38,279 votes (28.48%)
- Aurelian Bădulescu (PSD) – 18,427 votes (13.71%)
Sector 4:
- Daniel Băluță (PSD-PPU SOCIAL-LIBERAL electoral alliance) – 58,577 votes (57.03%)
- Elena-Simona Spătaru (USR-PLUS Alliance) – 30,688 votes (29.87%)
Sector 5:
- Cristian-Victor Popescu Piedone (Liberal Social Humanist Power Party) – 25,902 votes (28.08%)
- Daniel Florea (PSD) – 23,649 votes (25.63%)
- Cristian-Tudor Băcanu (NLP) – 23,282 votes (25.24%)
Sector 6:
- Ciprian Ciucu (PNL) – 54,134 votes (43.39%)
- Gabriel Mutu (PSD) – 43,105 votes (34.55%).
