Australian songwriter and singer Nick Cave has revealed which songs he wants to play at his funeral, sung by “the voice of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll singer.
Cave responded to The Red Hand Files website to a letter from a Scottish fan who recently lost his father and arranged a funeral for him on the subject of Elvis Presley, writes News.ro.

“I don’t know if anyone has asked you so far on The Red Hand Files, but what songs would you like to see at your funeral?” The man wrote.
Cave replied: “I was very moved by your letter. I’m sure his father would have been very happy with his funeral with the Elvis theme. Thinking about it, he would also be very happy with that: being taken to the other world by the voice of the best. rock ‘n’ roll singer of all ”.

Nick Cave, 63, released his pandemic album “Carnage” last month in collaboration with Warren Ellis, his colleague from The Bad Seeds.

Born on September 22, 1957 in Australia, Nick Cave is a soloist, composer and lyricist. In 1983, he founded Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, which tackles a wide variety of musical styles, from post-punk, blues, pop, and jazz to garage-rock. The musician, who is also a writer, poet, screenwriter and, sometimes, actor, addresses themes such as death, religion, love and violence in his songs.
He made his debut in 1979 with The Boys Next Door with “Door, Door”. Together with The Bad Seeds, he has released 17 studio albums to date, in addition to the four with The Birthday Party, a group in which he has been active since 1973 for a decade.
