The bill regulates the granting of rights to these employees, as well as the descendants of those who died due to coronavirus disease.
Medical personnel participating in medical actions against COVID-19 are understood to be specialized medical-health personnel and auxiliary health personnel from health units, community pharmacies, family medicine practices, dental practices, as well as from other health care providers or social assistance, directly involved in actions and missions related to the prevention, management and control of COVID-19 infections.
This category also includes military personnel – paramedics and medical personnel – from structures under the coordination / operational coordination of the Department of Emergency Situations within the Ministry of the Interior, paramedical personnel from SMURD teams specialized in providing qualified first aid, all personnel from hospitals that provide positive care to patients with positive results, as well as support hospitals for patients with positive or suspicious results. Descendants of medical personnel who died as a result of participating in medical actions against COVID-19 are considered their children and the surviving spouse.
