The National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) has decided that restaurants, theaters and cinemas will be able to reopen and operate indoors in two incidents: with a 50% capacity in areas where up to 1.5 cases of COVID-19 occur per thousand inhabitants, and with a capacity of 30% and with a limited program until 11:00 p.m. in areas where there are 1.5 to 3 cases of COVID per thousand inhabitants. Premises in areas with more than 3 cases per thousand inhabitants remain closed.
The Secretary of State of the Ministry of the Interior, Raed Arafat, indicated that the restaurants will be able to operate where the Provincial Commissions will issue decisions on the incidence of COVID-19 cases below 3 per thousand inhabitants.
CNSU’s decision comes after Prime Minister Ludovic Orban’s discussion with HoReCa representatives on Friday.
SUBWAYThe measure also applies to casinos, Arafat said.
On the other hand, bars, clubs and discos will remain closed, according to the decision of the CNSU. Instead, the terraces remain open in the same conditions as before: tables must be at least two meters apart and a table can seat a maximum of 6 people.
When the incidence is greater than 3 per thousand, the restaurants of the hotels and guest houses remain open only to the people who stay there.
