New registry for patients with severe Covid-19. ATI sections are close to maximum capacity

In the last 24 hours, 8,134 new cases of COVID-19 were registered, of the 33,021 tests carried out. Another 161 Romanians died after being infected by coronavirus. 1,249 COVID patients are hospitalized in ATI, the highest number of severe coronavirus patients to date.

To date, on November 28, in Romania, 465,982 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

335,764 patients were declared cured.

Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 8,134 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test. The county breakdown of the total and new cases can be found in the table below.

To date, 11,045 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between the 27.11.2020 (10:00) – 28.11.2020 (10:00) 161 deaths (94 men and 67 women) were reported, of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Bihor, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramurei, Neamiuhedinurei, Timiuhedinurei Subai , Tulcea, Vaslui, Vrancea and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 30 to 39 years, 1 death in the age category 40 to 49 years, 16 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 40 deaths in the age category age 60 to 69 years, 56 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 47 deaths in the category over 80 years.

151 of the registered deaths were of some patients who presented comorbidities and 10 deceased patients did not present comorbidities.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 13,040. Of these, 1,249 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 4,081,557 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 33,021 were performed in the last 24 hours, 20,669 based on the case definition and medical protocol, and 12,352 upon request.

In Romania, 46,389 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 11,952 people are in institutionalized isolation. In addition, 70,150 people are in home quarantine and 62 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 4,859 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 618 of the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform the public.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 27 of this year, 6,182 penalties for minor offenses, in the amount of 950,700 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 8 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.

The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,914 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,936 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,056 in Germany, 167 in the Kingdom United, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 10 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates, 11 in the Republic of Moldova and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan , Sweden, Republic of Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal and Egypt. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 127 Romanian citizens abroad, 32 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
