New images have been released with the suspension bridge over the Danube from Brăila. Intensive work is done on both banks of the river both during the day and at night.

One of the two cranes has already been installed, which will help lift the pillars that will have a height of about 192 meters. The two pillars should be ready by the end of this year.
According to local authorities, during this period they are working on the design and tender for the relocation of electricity and gas services. The project has a total value of 500 million euros, including access roads, financing obtained largely from European funds, but also from the state budget.
The total length of the bridge will be almost 2 kilometers and the central opening, 1,120 meters.
Work on the bridge began in December 2018 and should be completed by the end of 2021.
It will be the third bridge in Europe in terms of central opening and length.
