There have been 7,661 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, of the 32,120 tests carried out. Another 211 Romanians died after becoming infected with COVID-19, a new negative record. There are currently 1,252 patients in intensive care.

To date, on December 3, in Romania, 492,211 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed. 381,001 patients were declared cured.

Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, 7,661 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

The coefficient of accumulated infections at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the municipal and county levels of Bucharest. Here is the table prepared based on the reports received by CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:

To date, 11,876 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 02.12.2020 (10:00) – 03.12.2020 (10:00) 211 deaths were reported (125 men and 86 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomița, Iașiure, Mahedințiuva, Sibiua, Shediniua, Sibiua, Shediniua, Sibiua, Sibiua, Shedinua Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.

202 of the registered deaths are of some patients who presented comorbidities, 3 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 6 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported to date.

In health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 13,156. Of these, 1,252 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 4,170,013 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 32,120 were performed in the last 24 hours, 20,420 based on the definition of the case and medical protocol and 11,700 upon request.

In Romania, 44,965 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 12,191 people are in institutionalized isolation. Additionally, 68,826 people are in home quarantine and 63 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 5,180 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 813 of the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially to inform citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on December 2 of this year, 6,124 sanctions for minor offenses, in the amount of 1,021,420 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, 3 crimes were found yesterday to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

The calls are handled by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects ”, affirms GCS.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,914 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,936 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,056 in Germany, 167 in the Mar UK, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 10 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates, 11 in the Republic of Moldova and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 127 Romanian citizens abroad, 32 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed as infected by the new coronavirus, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
