5,236 of the new COVID-19 cases have been reported by GCS in the last 24 hours, out of 38,255 tests performed, PCR and rapid. Other 96 of Romanians died after being infected with coronavirus. I am in ATI 1,171 of hospitalized people.

To date, on March 11, 845,352 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) were confirmed in Romania. 774,277 patients were declared cured.

Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 5,236 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Apart from the recently confirmed cases, after retesting the patients who were already positive, 873 people were positively reconfirmed.

To date, 21,252 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 10.03.2021 (10:00) – 11.03.2021 (10:00) 96 deaths were reported (47 men and 49 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor. , Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brașov, Brăila, Buzău, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomița, Iași, Maramureș, Oltib, Vasluiiu, Marelumani, Mare Bucharest.

Of these, 5 deaths were recorded in the age category 40 to 49 years, 8 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 23 deaths in the age category 60 to 69 years, 39 deaths in the age category age 70 to 79 years and 21 deaths in the category of over 80 years.

95 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities, and for 1 patient who died so far, no comorbidities have been reported.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 10,425. Of these, 1,171 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 6,258,854 RT-PCR tests and 390,803 rapid antigen tests have been processed throughout the country. In the last 24 hours, 28,454 RT-PCR tests were performed (17,822 based on case definition and medical protocol and 10,632 on request) and 9,801 rapid antigen tests.

In Romania, 49,670 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 14,004 people are in institutional isolation. Additionally, 52,554 people are in home quarantine and 137 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 4,121 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 646 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on March 10, 4,632 penalties for minor offenses, in the amount of 802,672 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 4 criminal proceedings were raised to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 23,480 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 2,541 in Italy, 16,773 in Spain, 195 in the United Kingdom, 125 in France, 3,116 in Germany, 93 in Greece, 49 in Denmark, 37 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 7 in Sweden, 137 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 43 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 7 in Bulgaria, 12 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates, 13 in Moldova, 3 in Montenegro, 218 in Ireland, 2 in Singapore, 3 in Tunisia, 7 in the Republic of Korea and one in Argentina, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal, Egypt, Pakistan, Iran, Slovenia, Russian Federation, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 186 Romanian citizens abroad, 34 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 60 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, 3 in Sweden, 4 have died in Ireland, 2 in Switzerland, 1 in the United States, 1 in Brazil, 1 in the Republic of the Congo, 1 in Greece and 1 in Iran.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 798 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg, one in Tunisia and one in Argentine.
