In the last 24 hours, 4,761 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported. Another 73 Romanians died due to coronavirus infection, while 787 COVID patients are hospitalized in ATI.
Until Saturday, 205,793 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) were confirmed in Romania, of which 147,932 were declared cured.
In the last 24 hours, 4,761 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered.
As of Saturday, 6,318 people diagnosed with the COVID-19 infection had died and 73 deaths had been reported in the last 24 hours, including 49 men and 24 women. These are patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Brăila, Brașov, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Covasna, Dolj, Gorj, Harghita, Ialomița, Maramureș, Mureș, Oalomița, Maramureș, Mureș, Oalomița Prahova, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiș, Vaslui, Ilfov and Bucharest.
Of these, two deaths were recorded in the 30 to 39 years category, three deaths in the 40 to 49 years age category, five deaths in the 50 to 59 years age category, 14 deaths in the age category of 60 to 69 years. , 25 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 24 deaths in the category over 80 years.
All deaths were in patients with comorbidities.
In the country’s hospitals, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 10,307. Of these, 787 are hospitalized in ATI.
As of Saturday, 3,036,643 tests were processed across the country. Of these, 33,843 were performed in the last 24 hours, 19,931 based on the definition of the case and medical protocol and 13,912 on request.
In Romania, 37,650 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 23,178 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 51,139 people are in home quarantine and 51 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
